A lot of the recent projects I have worked with in IT are migrations and digital transformations, ensuring businesses experience seamless transitions with minimal downtime. Below are some of our most recent projects, highlighting my expertise in email, cloud, and workflow migrations.
Email is the backbone of business communication, and moving to a new platform requires precision to avoid disruptions. We have successfully completed multiple Office 365 migrations tailored to different business needs.
Challenge: A business client was running an aging on-premises Exchange server with storage limitations, high maintenance costs, and no built-in disaster recovery. They wanted to migrate to Microsoft 365 while ensuring uninterrupted access for users.
Solution:
✔ Conducted a full environment assessment, including mailbox sizes, shared resources, and permissions.
✔ Staged migration approach to minimize downtime – batch-moving mailboxes during non-business hours.
✔ Implemented Hybrid Exchange mode during migration to maintain coexistence and ensure a seamless cutover.
✔ Configured Microsoft Defender for Office 365 for enhanced email security post-migration.
Result: The business successfully moved to a scalable, cloud-based email system with better security, disaster recovery, and reduced maintenance costs.
Challenge: A company using Google Workspace for email needed to transition to Microsoft 365 due to better integration with their other Microsoft tools. The main concerns were ensuring a smooth transition for non-technical users and avoiding data loss.
Solution:
✔ Used Microsoft Migration API to securely transfer emails, contacts, and calendar entries from Gmail to Outlook.
✔ Recreated Google Groups as Microsoft 365 Distribution Lists.
✔ Provided user training and documentation for the switch from Gmail to Outlook.
✔ Reconfigured DNS settings and MX records to cut over the email domain without disruption.
Result: The business gained a fully integrated Microsoft 365 environment, enhancing collaboration with Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, while ensuring all historical email data was intact.
Challenge: A business acquisition required taking over another company’s Microsoft 365 tenant, moving all their users, mailboxes, and SharePoint data into the acquiring company’s tenant while keeping user access and permissions intact.
Solution:
✔ Used Microsoft’s Tenant-to-Tenant Migration process to transfer users and mailboxes.
✔ Ensured OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams data was properly mapped to the new environment.
✔ Migrated security policies, compliance settings, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) configurations.
✔ Provided post-migration support to troubleshoot any access or permission issues.
Result: The business successfully consolidated into one unified Microsoft 365 tenant, simplifying administration, reducing costs, and maintaining security policies.
A major project involved moving an entire on-premises infrastructure running VMware to Microsoft Azure, using a cloud-native approach.
Challenge: The client was running business-critical workloads on VMware with high on-prem infrastructure costs and limited scalability. They wanted to migrate to Azure while maintaining security and compliance.
Solution:
✔ Designed and implemented Azure Landing Zones, ensuring a structured and scalable foundation for cloud resources.
✔ Used Azure Migrate to assess and move workloads from VMware to Azure.
✔ Deployed ExpressRoute VPN for a high-speed, private connection between on-prem and Azure.
✔ Transitioned from Remote PC Services (RPS) to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) for secure remote work.
✔ Spun up virtual machines using DSv2 series, optimizing performance for their workloads.
Result: The business reduced infrastructure costs by 30%, gained better disaster recovery, and achieved greater scalability for future growth.
This project involved completely moving an organization’s Google-based environment to Microsoft 365, including email, file storage, automation, and workflows.
Challenge: The client relied heavily on Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Sheets for their workflows but needed to standardize on Microsoft 365 for compliance and security reasons.
Solution:
✔ Migrated Gmail mailboxes to Outlook using Microsoft’s migration tools.
✔ Moved Google Drive files to OneDrive and SharePoint, ensuring folder structures and permissions remained intact.
✔ Converted Google Sheets and Docs to Excel and Word formats.
✔ Redesigned Google Workflow automations using Power Automate to replicate and improve their processes.
Power Automate Rebuild:
🔹 Google Forms workflows → Power Apps + Power Automate for approvals and notifications.
🔹 Google Drive file automation → OneDrive/SharePoint flow automation.
🔹 Google Calendar integrations → Microsoft Outlook scheduling tools.
Result: The company fully transitioned to Microsoft 365, improving compliance, security, and interoperability with Microsoft-based clients and vendors.
IT migrations help businesses embrace the future of cloud computing and productivity. Whether it’s email migrations, cloud transformations, or workflow automation, we ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption.

I have coded two games using C# and Unity, I have done this in my free time.
This game I created in unity from scratch is a physics based game where the snowboarder must complete a run without falling over. I have plans to stretch this out further with more intense levels and a point based system.
This game I created for educational purposes. A pizza delivery game which will require the driver to pick up pizzas and deliver to receive points. The quicker the delivery the more points. The driver will also have to solve mathematic problems in order to deliver the pizza. This game is unfinished.
